Zophy was born and raised in Tel Aviv.
She holds an undergraduate (BA) degree in Meteorology and Jewish History, as well as a graduate degree (MA) in Meteorology, both from Bar Ilan University.
Zophy worked at the Beit Dagan Meteorological Service, focusing on agroclimatic research. She concurrently began studying painting at the Avni Institute of Art and Design.
“I always loved painting”, says Zophy. “Various paints – water, pastel and gouache – were part of my childhood and always placed on my desk”.
Her instructors at the Avni Institute include the late Israeli painters Uri Lifshitz and Meir Pichhadze. Upon graduating from the Avni Institute, Zophy turned to teaching and instructing art students.
Over the last 5 years, operating within the family business (Z.C. Ronogil), Zophy has decided to dedicate her efforts to community philanthropy
